When did you come to NZ ? 2004 Where were you born? Thrissur, Kerala, India
How did you travel to NZ or travel around NZ? Flew in aeroplane
What was your home like as a child?Childhood homes were in 3 different places due to the nature of dad's work in a bank. One was a banker's living quarters which had a big backyard with trees, one was a two-storeyed house with minimum yard space, another was a downstairs house with another family living upstairs
Do you practice a religion? Yes, Christian, catholic
What impact has religion had on your life?Sense of spirituality, morals
What were your hobbies?Reading, general knowledge
How did you hear about world news?Through newspaper and TV
What could you tell me that I would be surprised to learn about you?That I have got a Master's degree and two postgraduate diplomas.
What is the earliest memory that you have?Of sitting in the patio of our house listening to my sisters studying
What do you remember about your parents or grandparents?Only one grandparent (grandmother) was alive when I was born. She used to talk with me.
Any other comments about how life is different now?Missing going out, don't know when we will be able to visit family overseas again.

What is the earliest memory that you have? The day I got my ears pierced
What do you remember about your parents or grandparents? I've only seen one grandparent, she was so pretty.
Any other comments about how life is different now?The world has evolved so much over the last few decades. Althought the overall quality of life has improved everywhere, with advancements in science and technology and the way we understand nature, I feel like we have disconnected from the 'good old days". Even though we live in the most connected age ever, many people feel disconnected from life. It would feel amazing to take a moment to cherish the present

Where were you born? Thrissur, kerala India
How did you travel to Bahrain or travel around Baharin? I traveled by flight to Bahrain
What was your home like as a child?My father was a banker due to which we traveled a lot around india and got to stay at many different places. The earliest memory of a house was a sloping roofed house in a village at kerala
Do you practice a religion?Yes, catholic Christan
What impact has religion had on your life?It brought discipline and hope in my life.
What were your hobbies?Stitching, painting and poetry reading and writing
How did you hear about world news?Reading and via the radio
What could you tell me that I would be surprised to learn about you?You might be surprised to know that I worked for a bank for 5 years
What is the earliest memory that you have?The memory of hugging my father's shirt and sleeping probably when I was around two years old
What do you remember about your parents or grandparents?My maternal grandmother taught me the Malayalam alphabets, she also took me bird watching and taught me of the various kinds of birds. While my paternal grandmother taught me to play cards and also run small local errands like selling fruits and collecting the money after sale. I don't have much memories of my grandfathers
Any other comments about how life is different now?Life revolves around technology now we barely see people face to face. Everyone is stuck in a flat or house with AC without much knowledge how the climate outside is.
